He then went on to complete the prestigious vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. This is one of the top programs in the world for this specialty.
Throughout Dr. Smith’s career, he has been at the forefront of vascular and interventional radiology, dedicating 100% of his time to his craft. This level of focus has allowed him to become a pioneer in the field. For example, he was among the first physicians to start performing prostate artery embolization in Texas in 2017. Dr. Smith also began providing genicular artery embolization, an emerging nonsurgical treatment for knee arthritis, in 2021.
